| MIA SIXTH GRADE 2011-2012 Coach: Elly Sarwono SNACK SCHEDULE Jan 27, 2012 CLASS IS FULL February 3, 2012 Sixth grade MIA (Trishla J, Ian H, Caitlin S, Ailey B, Alisha H, Garvit M, Punya M, Vanshika K, Anika T, Kerilyn H, Rama T, Vidha S) did awesome at the Math is Cool competition on Feb. 3rd. They took home 2nd place. Caitlin, Rama, and Punya also got placed third, fifth, and sixth in the Individual category. You guys rock! 
MIA - Sixth Grade ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Sep. 12, 2011 Whether or not your child's name is on the list, if you want to discuss your child's test result, please feel free to contact me (mathinaction@gmail.com) The following students are qualified for MIA Sixth Grade: Ailey B, Alisha H, Anika D, Caitlin S, Garvit M, Ian H, Kerilyn H, Punya M, Rama T, Trishla J, Vanshika K, Vidha S, Anton B. REGISTRATION AND CONTRACT WILL BE GIVEN TO PARENTS ON THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS (SEP 13). PARENTS ARE REQUIRED TO COME ON SEP 13 AT 4:15-4:30PM. STUDENTS NEED TO ARRIVE BY 3:10PM. Snack and volunteer rotation will also need to be filled out. AFTER THE FIRST CLASS, YOU AND YOUR CHILD HAVE ONE WEEK TO THINK ABOUT THE PROGRAM. NO REFUND AFTER THE SECOND WEEK. If your child name is on the list and you are new to the MIA program, please read through with your child the class information below. CLASS INFORMATION Class meets on TUESDAYS from 3:10 to 4:30 PM (September 13 through May 22) Additional classes on FRIDAYS: Dec 2, 9, Jan 6, 13, 20, Feb 3, Apr 13, 20, 27 Location: Room 120 There is no class when there is no school. Parents meeting is required on September 13 from 4:15 to 4:30PM Fee: $100 - binders, materials, and competition fees are included. Payable on the first week of class (Sep 13). Math in Action class is designed to provide additional time for students to explore the fascinating subject of math. The success of the program will rely heavily on its participants. While most students will benefit from this program, students who commit to positive thinking and participation will benefit the most.
