Sign up your child by March 25. Space is limited. First come first serve.
Note about the program:
The second grade MIA class is designed to build on existing math skills and create an exposure to advanced mathematical skills through exercises, games and activities.
For those who are not familiar with Math In Action, homework or practice pages called 'fun-work' will be handed out or assigned every week. For every completed fun-work turned in, students earn MIA money. The money will be used for shopping for small prizes at the end of the program.

Coach Note:
The second grade MIA class is designed to build on existing math skills and create an exposure to advanced mathematical skills through exercises, games and activities.
Class meets on every Thursday before school from 7:30 to 8:25 AM in the Library. Location for November 12 and 19 is TBA (due to Book Fair).
FEE: $20 per student (payable to Norman Rockwell PTA)
Fee covers all class materials, games, and local competition fees. In addition, the class requires students to have an online subscription to www.ixl.com ($15 and it's good for the whole school year). Please register separately. Students are also invited to participate in the Online Math League (Nov, Feb, Mar), which are open for all Rockwell students who has MIA online account.
