MATH CHALLENGE 2010-2011 information
There will be 16 math challenges throughout 2010-2011 school year. The first math challenge will be available on October 4, 2010. All challenges be published in the Bugle and on this website every other week. Students from grade 1 to grade 6 are invited to participate. Parents can use these opportunities to discuss math with their children.
Students who complete at least 12 challenges will be honored at the award assembly in June 2011.
Students have to submit their answers to their teachers or to the school office by the Thursday (no later than 3 p.m.) following the Bugle’s distribution. Only correct answers submitted by Thursday afternoon will be eligible a prize drawing. Winners will be announced on Friday mornings.

As you may have known that the Math Challenge program is a series of math challenges published every other weeks in the Bugle and in the MIA website. The purpose of MIA Math Challenge is to involve families to enjoy math through a series of fun and engaging challenges. We encourage parents and siblings to be involved in solving the math problems. This year, out of 178 participants, there are 52 students who completed 12 out of the 16 challenges.

This is the third year that Coho Cafe has generously donated kid's meals to all Math Challenge survivors! Students mentioned above will receive all their math challenges back along with a medal and a kid's meal coupon from Coho on June 21st.
