Our Sixth Grade Math Teams participated in the WA State Math Championship in Blaine on April 18. There were over 1300 students (grade 5-8) participated in the event. I hope this picture captured the excitement.

What a competition! Our teams were up against some of very highly capable students from various academic schools. Some familiar schools were from our area: Lakeside, Odle, and Eton of Bellevue, Bear Creek of Redmond, and from our district were Alcott El., Samantha Smith El., Kamiakin Jr. High, and Redmond Jr. High. Rockwell sixth grade teams were placed 24th and 40th.
